Who we are
Hey, I'm Jon Pettijohn, founder and owner of Five Loaves. I'm a photographer, agent, husband, father, and follower of Jesus Christ. And yes, I have 9 kids (the youngest is not pictured)!
Our story
As an agent, I bought a camera and enrolled in a real estate photography course so I could shoot my own listings. I found I was really good at it, and soon my photos were getting the attention of other agents who began asking what company I had used. After initially shooting only for agents in my office, the demand was so strong that I started Five Loaves
Our name
I chose that name because I believe that when we give everything we have to God (our time, businesses, etc.), He can do great big things with them! Through Five Loaves, God has provided all the funding for a ministry aimed at international students at UTA. Utilizing a small fleet of bikes that are loaned out daily (essential for many students who lack transportation), the ministry is able to engage with students, sharing the gospel and hosting a weekly dinner and Bible study.

We carefully choose the position, angle, and height of the camera, and then use tiny gears to adjust the tilt and roll until everything is perfect.This meticulous process results in photos that are crisp and intentionally composed.
